For those of us who love the outdoors, environmentalism is a big concern. Not just because we enjoy the wonders of creation, but because we want to preserve it for future generations also. And while it can be easy to take sides on how to deal with environmental issues – right or left, red state or blue state, liberal or conservative, use or preserve, perhaps there are some ways we can find common ground.

Rock Hollow Golf Club – Harvest Hosts Review
Our first stop on our recent trip to Holland Michigan was at the Rock Hollow Golf Club in Peru, Indiana. This was our first time staying at a Harvest Hosts site. We were really relieved to find out how easy it was.
Paddling on the Meramec River
It was a beautiful day so we decided to go kayaking. We paddled from Castlewood State Park to the boat ramp at Greentree Park. Total trip was about 4.5 miles.
